Ok, ok, I’m kidding. The real Worn Out is this ensemble from a few weeks ago, when it was fairly cold, but I decided I wanted to find a new way to wear a summer dress in the winter.
Enter the basic black long sleeved t-shirt, and presto, an office and weather appropriate new way to wear a summer dress. Pair with a wide belt, black tights and heels, and it’s ready to go.
Please ignore my cat's rear end...and the giant mess on the shelves back there.
I’ve also got this fairly new BB Dakota coat that I love because it can dress up or down, has pockets that don’t require unbuttoning, and has cute puffed sleeves. Since it was a cold day I also added my faux fur “loop” that I am completely obsessed with. It’s the perfect combo of form and function. Not to mention people always compliment me on it.
So, that was pretty fun, and I like any time I can make a piece do double duty.
