The days are counting down, there’s even the possibility of a white Christmas, at least in my neck of the urban jungle. I can’t wait to see my family, which is the most important thing of all…but what about gifts?
I’m talking amazing, sometimes over the top, sometimes useful gifts! A girl can dream, can’t she? Here’s a list of things that I wouldn’t mind finding under the tree in 10 days.
• Christian Louboutin pumps.
I think Santa understands that shoes are like toys to me.
• Adobe CS4 Creative Suite Design Premium.
Because, you know, as a girl grows her freelance business and design empire, she really needs to keep her software up to date.
• Panasonic RP-HTX7 Headphones.
To be fair, Santa, aka David, actually got these for me and let me have them early because I was desperate. I had a Bose pair that sounded great, but the design of the “headband” was fundamentally flawed and the plastic broke in about 12 places. Bummer. So, these are metal and block sound like a dream. Not to mention the look rad!
• Pantone Formula books.
I’ve never owned my own set of these, and I think it’s high time!
• A giant iTunes giftcard.
Because music is my best friend.
• Candles from 5B&Co.
I love 5B’s candles than any other candles EVER. In addition to my favorite, Burnt Sugar, I also love Cloved Orange , Hellavanilla™ and Rawhide (leather scent). They only make votives, but they have more “throw” (that’s candle-speak for smell) than any other candle I’ve ever had. Plus the smells are really good, not synthetic and fake smelling.
• Meow necklace.
From Old Soul New Heart. I love leopard print, but I don’t have any leopard print JEWELRY!
• Reebok Easy Tone sneakers.
Perhaps I am a sucker, but I need new shoes for the gym anyway…so I am thinking it would be cool to see if these actually work!
• Fräulein
It’s the new, large format book by phototographer Ellen von Unwerth, published by Taschen.
• And last but not least, peace on earth, equality for all, an end to war everywhere, you know, the big stuff that one wish list really can’t do justice to.

Loving those headphones – they look amazing and comfortable. The rest of the list is equally awesome. Can one ever have enough iTunes gift cards? I think not!
