The words of my boss and genius makeup artist Babette echoed in my head. "The only thing that can save a girl in January is BLUSH". So, now I wear blush, because I think I look awake and prettier with it than without. Believe me though, I've tried bronzer, and THAT is something that I will just never, ever understand. I should point out that I only started wearing blush a few years ago. So, now I wear blush, because I think I look awake and prettier with it than without.

Believe me though, I’ve tried bronzer, and THAT is something that I will just never, ever understand.

LOL (or, ok, whorish. I think it's because of my skin tone and/or lack of knowledge in this area of make-up). Or maybe it's the forever goth in me that can't have rosy cheeks? Who knows. I like that shoot. I love how all the LJers are bitching about it NOT being DVT. For the record, I find that model more appealing and less draggy than DVT.
